VACDIVA IN THE MEDIA

Many media have expressed interest in a project that could provide a solution to one of the biggest problems the food sector globally faces and more specifically the pig sector, i.e. the African Swine Fever virus. The project has aroused the greatest interest in the press in Spain, although it is worth mentioning the follow-up of the specialised pig and livestock media in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Chile and Argentina. In Europe, the United Kingdom and Latvia are the only countries that mention the project in the media. The interviews given by the digital media with a large audience in Spain, such as El Confidencial, Nius, El Pais, are worth mentioning or the interview in the European edition of the POLITICO magazine where the project coordinator, Professor José Manuel Sánchez-Vizcaíno, explained the challenges we face in the fight against African Swine Fever and the importance of biosecurity and prevention to avoid the spread of the virus.
