The VACDIVA Final World Technology Transfer Workshop will take place on December 12th, 2024, in Brussels at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). This event marks a significant milestone as the VACDIVA project approaches its conclusion, offering a platform for knowledge exchange and showcasing the most impactful results of the project.
The workshop will bring together key stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, representatives from the pig and wild boar sectors, and international organizations, to discuss the latest advancements in African Swine Fever (ASF) vaccine development and its application worldwide.
Aims of the Workshop
The Final World Technology Transfer Workshop will focus on:
- Presenting the main results and technological advancements achieved during the VACDIVA project.
- Facilitating discussions on the practical applications of ASF vaccines developed under the project.
- Engaging with stakeholders to address key challenges and opportunities for ASF control strategies globally.
The workshop will also provide space for open discussions, recommendations, and future collaboration opportunities to ensure the continuity of the project’s legacy.
